L'Isle, due to its location in the middle of the river and its relatively low elevation difference from sea level, is endowed with a unique microclimate. This results in milder winters, shorter rainfall, and slightly cooler summers, which the salty winds make very pleasant!
Living on an island is literally like being immersed in the tidal cycle. Twice a day, like a long breath, the tide rising near the shore and then retreating far out onto the flats influences both the activities and the landscapes.

Do you want to park when you arrive on the Isle?
Here are 4 places you can do it:
-Municipality of L'Isle-aux-Coudres (1024, Chemin des Coudriers)
-Saint-Bernard Church (3417, Chemin des Coudriers)
-Playground (L'Islet Path)
-Pillar Stop (2191, Chemin des Coudriers)

Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice canoeing, hiking, and more…
A winter destination not to be missed!
