Isle-aux-Coudres at any time of the year

Experiencing L'Isle-aux-Coudres throughout the four seasons is a complete change of scenery, often just a few hours from home.

In the fall While the orchards are in full swing, from sunrise to sunset, a breathtaking display of colors awaits you. In the salty hay and golden fields, a variety of birds visit us. It's time for salty hikes, warm sweaters, and fava bean soup!

 

In winter, The island is surprising when its wild, white territory becomes a huge playground for cross-country skiing, outdoor skating, snowshoeing, fat bikes, hiking, ice canoeing, and snowmobiles. In simplicity and peace, taking the time to savor winter on the island means treating yourself to pastries, ciders, fresh breads and coffees, good food and aperitifs by the fire... And really slowing down, by stopping in the inns, residences or chalets. You will be charmed by the ice and the "Lemieux" landscapes, and will understand why the island was the place for this famous painter to create!

 

Then, when the famous blue ice of the Great Lakes appears on the sandbanks, it is because spring It's back! We're bringing out the bikes as the island and its surroundings are budding again. And seasonal traders are bustling back into business to the rhythm of the tides!
