About Us

Discover an exceptional heritage site where a watermill and a windmill stand side by side, both remarkably restored and located just steps from each other. As in days gone by, the miller grinds grain, and you can watch demonstrations of wheat and buckwheat milling at the watermill.

Extend your visit to the shop, where you will find flour freshly milled on stone mills, as well as a fine selection of local products and souvenirs.

The site also offers unmissable exhibitions, including Tribute to Pierre Perreaultwhich highlights the work For the rest of the world, deeply linked to island identity. The miller's houseMeanwhile, it immerses visitors in the heart of the customs and traditions of L'Isle-aux-Coudres, offering a precious glimpse into life in bygone days.

Guided or self-guided tours are offered, allowing everyone to discover at their own pace this place steeped in history and know-how.
